Sirajum Monira is a Bangladeshi visual artist whose artistic practice explores the relationship between memory, nature, and human emotion. Born and raised in Bangladesh, she completed both her Bachelor
of Fine Arts (BFA) and Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Drawing and Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts,University of Dhaka. Working primarily with acrylic and mixed media, she creates expressive compositions in which deformed figures and surreal environments emerge from reality. These forms reflect the tension between the visible world and the inner emotional landscape, revealing how human fragility and resilience coexist. For Monira, art is a form of freedom a space of imagination where hope and emotion are expressed through vibrant colors and dynamic gestures. Each brushstroke embodies fragments of memory and personal experience, transforming ordinary moments into symbolic narratives. Through her paintings, she aims to portray what humans and nature truly are ever changing,

Parmita Sarkar is a visual artist from Chattogram, Bangladesh, who completed her Honours and Master’s degrees in Painting from University of Chittagong. Growing up in the port city deeply influenced her artistic vision. The shipyards, harbor lights, salty sea breeze, and coastal atmosphere continue to inspire her work and evoke memories of her childhood.
Her paintings explore the relationship between nature and urban life within the port city, reflecting both its beauty and its fragile, vulnerable reality. Through expressive brushstrokes and dramatic use of light, she captures the emotional landscape of Chattogram and the possibilities hidden within its changing environment.
Parmita works primarily with acrylic and oil in mixed media, alongside nature-based illustrations and digital artworks created using Adobe creative software. She has participated in workshops including Joler Dhara and a mask-making workshop organized by Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy,mural workshop by Alok roy etc and has exhibited her work in several group exhibitions in Chattogram and Dhaka.
